I am Dr. Ramya Madhuri Y, an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Siddipet Government Medical College, where I have been teaching since 2024. I completed my MBBS at Siddhartha Medical College from 2004 to 2010 and earned my MD in Pediatrics from Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences between 2013 and 2016. My professional journey includes working as an Assistant Professor at Gandhi Medical College from 2019 to 2024 and gaining valuable experience as a pediatrician across various hospitals for eight years. I also served as a Senior Resident at Gandhi Hospital and worked as a General Practitioner before specializing in pediatrics. I am actively involved in academic work, delivering lectures and practical demonstrations for MBBS and MSc Pediatrics students, and I have participated in numerous conferences and workshops throughout India. My research contributions include several publications on topics such as congenital heart diseases, anemia screening, and the role of probiotics in managing neonatal conditions. I am a life member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the National Neonatology Forum, and the Indian Medical Association. Outside of my professional life, I am married to Dr. Rajesh Khanna, a Senior Consultant Pediatrician, and I am fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
